Pictures from 40 acre parcel

Check out the deer sign on this parcel! It doesn't get any better than this on 40 acres folks. In fact, it is hard to find a better parcel regardless of size! And, no, I am not kidding! This place hunts more like a few hundred acres with that refuge next door; there is monster buck sign all over the place on this one! Not only is the 1500 acre refuge next door but no one has taken a deer off this parcel in the past 4 years! The parcel has big old white oaks and super thick sanctuary/security habitat. It holds a tremendous amount of deer. There is approximately 8 acres that can be planted to food plot along with about 30 apple trees planted last year. These trees should start bearing some fruit this year. Expect to see a minimum of 20 deer in the food plot field on a typical evening hunt. Put alfalfa in those fields and I have no doubt you will have occasions with 50 or more deer in the field at once. I spent 45 minutes filming a video clip and taking pictures for the website. I found countless huge rubs and 3 shed antlers without even looking (and most bucks hadn't dropped yet) when I was there.
