Iowa Wildlife Habitat Services    |    Home  Iowa Land For Sale                                                    Pictures From Ringgold County 156 Property Notes:  This is one of the best all around sportsman's farms I've ever seen!  On inspection, I saw a crazy amount of deer sign -- trails pounded into the ground like long-use cow trails!  It's obvious that this farm supports a lot of deer use!  There are excellent food resources around and within this farm and excellent cover here and on adjacent land to the south and east.  This farm would be perfect for the serious sportsman who likes to hunt deer, turkey, pheasants, and waterfowl (all of which I saw when inspecting this parcel).  The serious fisherman has it made here too -- these are the kinds of places the biggest fish in the state come from each year!  Many great places to build a home or cabin overlooking the lake!
